Importing FLS game data back into FO

From FibaSupport

Jump to: navigation, search

Once the Statisticians have completed a game, they export game data from FLS ready for the Tournament Director to import into FO. The FLS User Guide explains how the Statisticians do this. You will receive a game a similar format to the XML you distributed to them at the start of the game. The only difference will be the file extension, which will be .EXP. So, if you exported the game and it was named LSG1111.XML then it will come back to you as LSG1111.EXP. You save this file in the Imports Folder under FO on your computer.

Open FIBA Organizer (FO) and Launch the Tournament Database

Click the Daily Admin Tab

Click Full Game Entry

Double Click on the Competition you are running

Right click on the game you wish to import results for and click on Import Game From LiveStats

Choose the relevant file based on the corresponding Game ID number and then click Open

FO will ask you to confirm the correct game is being imported by selecting from the list. Once you have done this click OK.

The following form will appear briefly on screen. This form is simply showing you that FO is processing the statistics for the players who played in the game. The form will disappear when all the players have been processed. Normally this only takes a few seconds.
